IthakiIthaca or Ithaki is a Greek island located in the Ionian Sea, off the northeast coast of Kefalonia and to the west of continental Greece. It is the second-smallest of seven main Ionian Islands, after Paxi. The capital is Vathy (or Vathi).

Modern Ithaca is generally identified with Homer's Ithaca, the home of Odysseus, whose delayed return to the island is the Odyssey's plot.

KalitheaKallithea is the most popular village in Halkidiki. It is located in the first peninsula of Halkidiki, Kassandra and it is the most cosmopolitan place in Halkidiki.

KalymnosThe terrain of the fourth largest island of the Dodecanese is mountainous, except for two fertile valleys, but it boasts of many natural attractions - caves, lovely beaches, unspoilt scenery - that make it a mini earthly paradise.

Kalymnos is widely known as the spongefishers' island, since such a large portion of the population is engaged in this ancient occupation.

KeaThe island is mostly barren with patches of cultivated and wooded ground near the coast. The lyric poets Simonides and Bacchlides come from this island. The picturesque hamlet of Vourkari is most popular and has excellent restaurants.

The large protected bay was once important as a coaling station for steamers. The beautiful 'Chora' on the hill, a huddle of glaring white houses, is well worth a visit. A large lion carved from the rock face is attributed to an Ionian sculptor from around 600 BC.

KosKos is the island that gave the world Hippocrates, the father of medicine. The third largest of the Dodecanese, it is long and narrow in shape, mostly flat with two low mountains, Dikaio (875 m.) and Simpatro, that run along its southern coast. It is well watered, thus very fertile, and it's also very touristically developed.

The island was first inhabited in the Neolithic era. In the 4th century B.C., its Asklepieion became famous as the leading "hospital" of antiquity.

KyparissiIn the Southeast of the Peloponnese, on the coast of Arcadia and near the border with Lakonia is Leonidio, a town renowned for its natural beauty and its agricultural products. This is the land of the Tsakonians, an ancient tribe whose dialect has been compared to Doric. The characteristic architecture of Leonidio rests among steep mountains. East of the town, the valley extends to the coastline.

Kyra PanagiaKyra Panagia is also known by the name of Pelagos and rarely Pelagonisi. In Antiquity it was known as Ephthyros and Polyaigos. A bay in the south west of the island is named Agios Petros. Kyra Panagia has belonged to the Athonite monastery of Megisti Lavra. There is a monastery, currently under restoration and inhabited by a single monk, on the east coast of the island.

KythnosKythnos is a typical island of the Cyclades. Two of its villages and the capital ("Chora") are spread on the hills with their two-story houses covered with red tiles. Golden beaches, easily accessible, invite the visitors for a quiet relaxing vacation.

The Loutra resort has warm sulphurous spa-waters. The tradition says that the water comes undersea from Vesuvious and the springs have been used since ancient times -and still are used- as a cure from rheumatism.
