AntipaxiAntipaxos is a small island in the Ionian Sea, about (2 miles to the south of Paxos. Antipaxos has several beaches and one harbour, Agrapidia. It has three main beaches: Vrika (white sand), Mesovrika (pebbles) and Voutoumi (pebbles) and it can be reached by 15-minute ride with a sea-taxi from the port of Gaios in Paxos.

ArgostoliArgostoli is a town on the island of Kefalonia. Argostoli developed into one of the busiest ports in Greece, leading to prosperity and growth.

To the east of Argostoli, at the end of the bay, beneath the Castle of St. George, sits the Koutavos Lagoon, a feeding ground for the Loggerhead turtles (Caretta caretta).

On the Ionian Sea coast southwest of the town centre is the holiday resort town Lassi, which has several small beaches.

FiskardoFiskardo is a village and a community on the Ionian island of Kefalonia. It is the northernmost port of Kefalonia, a short distance from Ithaca. Fiskardo has a small and diminishing fishing fleet. The coast around Fiskardo is mainly rocky with numerous pebble-beached coves. The port serves ferry routes to the ports of Frikes (Ithaca) and Lefkada.

Fiskardo is also the name of the two kilometre long bay in which the port is located. Fiskardo and the dense forest in the surrounding area have been declared areas of great natural beauty.

CorfuCorfu is the second largest island of the Ionian Islands, and, including its small satellite islands, forms the northwesternmost part of Greece. The principal city of the islandis also named Corfu.

The island is bound up with the history of Greece from the beginnings of Greek mythology. Its history is full of battles and conquests. Castles punctuating strategic locations across the island are a legacy of these struggles.

IthakiIthaca or Ithaki is a Greek island located in the Ionian Sea, off the northeast coast of Kefalonia and to the west of continental Greece. It is the second-smallest of seven main Ionian Islands, after Paxi. The capital is Vathy (or Vathi).

Modern Ithaca is generally identified with Homer's Ithaca, the home of Odysseus, whose delayed return to the island is the Odyssey's plot.

LefkadaLefkada, or Leucas is a Greek island in the Ionian Sea on the west coast of Greece, connected to the mainland by a long causeway and floating bridge. The principal town of the island Lefkada. It is situated on the northern part of the island.

NydriNydri is a town and a community on the eastern coast of the island of Lefkada. The community includes the small village Rachi. Nydri is a popular tourist town. In the sea in front of Nydri are several small islands including Madouri, Skorpios, Skorpidi and Sparti.

The German archaeologist Wilhelm Dörpfeld, having examined the geographical descriptions of Homer in the Iliad and the Odyssey believed that Lefkada was Homer's Ithaca, and that the palace of Odysseus was located west of Nydri on the south coast of Lefkada.

MeganisiMeganisi is a Greek island located to the east-southeast of the island of Lefkada. The municipality includes the offshore islands of Skorpios and Sparti.

The island has three villages: the central village of Katomeri and the ports of Vathy and Spartochori. There is also a harbour at Atheni Bay used mainly by fishing boats.

Some researchers estimate that Meganisi was the Homeric island of Krocylea, which was part of Odysseus' kingdom.
